Terms of Service
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Sketchpad Solutions Inc. ("we", "us"), a company in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for using SiteQuote at sitequote.org. By using the trial or creating an account, you agree to them. If you use SiteQuote for a business, you agree for that business too.
1. SiteQuote is in beta
SiteQuote is new and still changing. Features may change or stop, and things may sometimes break. We'll do our best to keep your work safe and to tell you about big changes. During the beta, SiteQuote is open in Canada and the United States.
2. Your account
- You need to be 18 or older and use a real email address.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- If you think someone else got into your account, tell us right away at support@sitequote.org.
3. Drafts: check before you send
SiteQuote uses AI to help draft a quote from your notes and photos. A draft can be wrong or incomplete: it can miss work, misread a measurement or put a line in the wrong place. The app reminds you to check every quantity and price before you share. You must review and correct every quote and invoice before you send it. What you send is yours.
4. Your prices, taxes and documents
- You set your prices, rates, markup, discounts, taxes and payment terms. SiteQuote doesn't give pricing, tax, legal or accounting advice.
- The tax rates SiteQuote suggests are a starting point. You're responsible for charging the right tax, for your tax registration, and for everything your quotes and invoices say.
- The year-end tax summary adds up the invoices you made in SiteQuote, as they were issued. It's for your records and your accountant. It isn't a tax return, and SiteQuote doesn't file taxes for you or give tax advice.
- Your agreements are between you and your customers, and so is collecting payment. We're not a party to them.
5. Your information and your customers' information
- Your quotes, invoices, photos, price book and business details are yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run SiteQuote for you, including sending notes and photos to our AI drafting provider to draft your quotes.
- You confirm you have the right to use your customers' details and the photos you upload.
- Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
6. Fair use
Please don't misuse SiteQuote. For example, don't:
- use it to break the law or anyone's rights, or to send fraudulent or misleading quotes or invoices;
- upload anything you don't have the right to share, or anything harmful or illegal;
- try to get into other people's accounts or information, or test our security without our permission;
- overload, scrape or copy the service, or use bots or scripts to make drafts;
- resell SiteQuote, or make extra accounts to get around the free plan's limits.
AI drafting has daily limits to keep it running well for everyone. We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
7. The free plan
- The trial lets you make a quote on your phone without an account. Its PDF is a watermarked sample.
- A free account includes 5 free quotes, with their invoices, and needs no card. A quote counts the first time you share, download or invoice it. Drafts and edits are free.
- Invoicing a quote that has already counted is always free.
- We may change what the free plan includes for new quotes. Quotes and invoices you've already made stay yours to view, share, download and invoice.
8. Paid plans
Paid plans aren't open yet. When they open, the paid plan will be CAD 9.99 a month, plus tax, for unlimited quotes and invoices, billed monthly until you cancel. You'll see the price and terms before you pay, and you'll be charged only if you choose the plan. Payments will be handled by Stripe. If we change the price, we'll email subscribers at least 30 days before it applies to them.
Founding beta offer: the first 30 contractors who create an account during the beta (one per business) can use SiteQuote with no quote limit while the beta lasts (the daily AI drafting limits in section 6 still apply), and get their first month of the paid plan free when paid plans open. After the free month, the plan renews at the listed price unless you cancel before it ends. We'll confirm by email if you're one of the 30.
9. Ending your account
- You can stop using SiteQuote at any time and ask us to close your account at support@sitequote.org. Download any PDFs and year-end tax summaries you need first.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. We'll tell you first where we reasonably can.
- If we ever shut SiteQuote down, we'll give account holders at least 30 days' notice by email so you can download your quotes and invoices.
10. Our name and our software
Sketchpad Solutions Inc. owns SiteQuote, its software and its design. You can use them only as these terms allow. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely.
11. No warranty
As far as the law allows, SiteQuote is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that AI drafts will be accurate.
12. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows:
- We're not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost jobs, lost data, or a mistake in a quote or invoice you sent.
- Our total liability for any claim about SiteQuote is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD 100.
Some places don't allow some of these limits. Where they don't, they apply as far as the law allows.
13. If a claim is made against us because of you
If someone makes a claim against us because of your quotes, invoices, content or a breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from it.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell account holders by email before it takes effect. If you keep using SiteQuote after that, the new terms apply.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts in Toronto, Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
